We are currently hiring CG Generalists who possess a superior level of ability in animation, modeling, rigging, texturing, shading, lighting and rendering. The candidate should have a strict sense of detail and organization while also driven to work with a team and collaborate artistically. Responsibilities Modeling, texturing, lighting and rendering hard-surface CG objects, along with basic animation. Quickly concept and execute 3D renderings and designs to supplement creative pitches. Layout a scene and create previs animation to supplement editors in the early stages of projects. Execute a broad range of 3D styles from photo-real VFX to illustrative character work. Able to solve creative problems using simple, efficient techniques, share ideas with teammates, and iterate rapidly based on client notes. Qualifications 2+ years of professional 3D Generalist experience. Strong & thorough understanding of VFX, design, and animation pipeline. Knowledge and expertise in 3D software. Maya + Redshift is ideal. Strong foundation and understanding of the principles of design. Aesthetic quality and technical expertise of the highest level. Knowledge of live action camera principles such as focal length, frame rates, sensor size, etc. Familiarity with basic production tools such as Dropbox, Google Suite, Slack.
