Seven Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in the ER/ED at our client's facility in San Antonio, TX. In this role, you will provide expert care to patients in a busy and dynamic emergency department environment. The position requires a strong background in acute care and proficiency with Meditech.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Perform airway and respiratory procedures, including CPAP/BiPAP setup and monitoring
• Manage vascular access procedures, including peripheral IV and intraosseous insertion
• Participate in trauma assessments and resuscitation protocols
• Assist with emergency procedures such as procedural sedation monitoring and disaster response
• Conduct cardiac and critical care procedures, including defibrillation and code blue participation
• Administer medications, including emergency and pain management medications
• Provide care for neurological emergencies, including stroke alert activation
• Perform wound and orthopedic procedures, including splint application and wound irrigation

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Expertise in caring for an acute population
• Experience with Meditech
• ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC, ENPC, NIH, CPI certifications
