• Schedule: 5 days/week, 8-hour days (08:00 - 17:00), with 1-2 evening shifts/week

• License/Certs: Active California Medical License, BLS, ACLS (preferred), DEA
• Experience: Minimum 2 years outpatient Family/Internal Medicine experience; hospitalist experience valuable

Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly Pay Rate: $171.60

What You'll Do:

• Provide outpatient primary care to a diverse patient population in community clinics
• Manage an average of 18 patients per day, with some days exceeding that number
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, behavioral health professionals, and support staff
• Document patient encounters using Epic EMR, primarily in inpatient; outpatient Epic experience preferred
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records
• Contribute to quality patient care and health outcomes
• Participate in clinic meetings and multidisciplinary discussions

What You Need:

• Active California medical license
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• BLS and DEA licensure
• Minimum 2 years outpatient experience; hospitalist experience beneficial
• Ability to work 8-hour day shifts with occasional evening shifts

• Bilingual in Spanish and English
• Experience with Epic EMR (preferably in outpatient setting)
• Strong clinical efficiency; high patient volume management
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

About the Assignment This outpatient Internal Medicine position is with a community-focused clinic supporting diverse patient needs in the LA area. The role involves Monday through Friday daytime shifts, with some evening shifts, in a busy clinical environment. Support staff includes Medical Assistants, RNs, LVNs, and behavioral health on-site to assist in delivering quality patient care.
