Machine Operator – $22/hr (Day & Night Shifts)
Location: Bartlett, IL
Schedule:

Day Shift: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM

Night Shift: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM

Training: Day Shift, Mon–Fri, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (temporary during building startup)

Job Summary
The Machine Operator supports the production team by assisting with the setup, operation, and monitoring of extrusion equipment in a fastpaced manufacturing environment. This role is handson and essential to keeping the extrusion line running safely, efficiently, and with consistent product quality. Ideal for candidates who enjoy machine work, teamwork, and learning new technical skills.

Key Responsibilities
Extrusion line support — Assist Lead Operator with machine setup, startup, operation, and shutdown
Material loading — Load resins, additives, and colorants into hoppers and feeders
Quality checks — Perform visual inspections and basic measurements
Product handling — Remove, package, and label finished products
Changeovers — Clean and prepare tooling/equipment for product transitions
Safety & 5S compliance — Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow PPE requirements
Troubleshooting support — Assist operators and maintenance with minor adjustments
Material transport — Move raw materials and finished goods (pallet jack or forklift if certified)

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
1+ year of machine operation experience in manufacturing
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements
Stand/walk for up to 12 hours
Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and repetitive movements
Lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs regularly
Comfortable working in a warm, noisy factory environment
Ability to climb stairs/ladders and work at various heights
Must wear required PPE (gloves, glasses, hearing protection, steeltoe footwear)
