Description Production Operations Project Manager, supporting the IRST Programs within the Sensors and Global Sustainment Line of Business. The team is responsible for delivering high‑quality products to customers, meeting quality, cost, and schedule commitments, and driving operational excellence. What You Will Be Doing As a member of the Production Operations project management team, you will oversee and manage the operational aspects of production, serving as a liaison between program management, cross‑functional teams, and factory leadership. Requirements MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – the selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. Experience in precision / highly‑regulated, production, manufacturing, and/or manufacturing environments. Technical background and experience in engineering, project management, supply chain, and/or production planning and control. Proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization to build consensus, champion change, and deliver results. Ability to achieve objectives through influence and indirect leadership. Desired Skills Project management training or certification. Aerospace and Defense production experience. Lean Six Sigma green belt or black belt. Familiarity with AS9100 and other defense quality standards. Other Important Information Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret. Ability to Work Remotely: Part‑time Remote Telework – the employee will work part of their schedule remotely and part at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Supports a variety of alternate work schedules including standard 40‑hour week, condensed schedules, and paid time off benefits.
