Job Summary:

TFed is seeking a Universal Banker who is a proactive problem solver with strong interpersonal skills to provide exceptional service for our members. The Universal Banker is responsible for facilitating member transactions and account servicing and delivering prompt, knowledgeable service.

Essential Functions:

• Process member transactions including check cashing, deposits, and loan payments.
• Perform account servicing requests both in person and via telephone.
• Uncover member needs and provide member service services such as opening accounts.
• Answer phones and conduct appropriate research to resolve member inquiries.
• Educate members on products and services that could benefit them.
• Perform vault custodian duties, including vault balancing.

Qualifications/Education/Experience/Personal Characteristics:

• 2 years' cash handling experience preferably in a bank or credit union setting.
• High energy level, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently and follow up on tasks.
• Ability to plan and organize, handle multiple priorities, and stressful situations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Strong computer skill including MS Office.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work branch hours as needed including Saturday.
• Bilingual English/Portuguese or English/Spanish is a plus.

Physical Demands:

Continuous: Hearing, talking, sitting, standing, using fingers to type

Frequent: Walking, reaching, stooping, crouching

Occasional: Lifting up to 25 lbs, local travel
