Reserve Teller Full Time 5 Admin Support Santa Ana, CA, US 6 days ago Requisition ID: 2495 Salary Range: $16.50 To $27.50 Hourly Job Summary The Reserve Teller is responsible for providing exceptional customer service in relation to processing deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other operational transactions in accordance with established policies and procedures while servicing multiple branch locations. The Reserve Teller balances daily transactions and provides security for assigned cash and transaction documentation. Responsibilities Process teller transactions such as deposits, cash checks, cash withdrawals, cash advances, bank card payments, loan payments, safe deposit payments, issuance and negotiation of monetary instruments, and savings bonds redemption. Receive checks and cash for deposits, examine checks for negotiability and proper endorsements, verify customer and account information, and prepare and verify monetary instruments. Identify transactions with potential fraud or suspected elder abuse and notify branch management. Review customers’ accounts and answer basic account activity questions. Count currency, coins, and checks received by hand or using a currency‑counting machine and prepare them for deposit or shipment. Maintain accurate transactional journals by correctly listing all incoming and outgoing cash by denomination. Enter customer transactions into computers to record transactions and issue computer‑generated receipts. Balance currency, coin, and checks in cash drawers at end of shift, calculating daily transactions using the computer and transaction journal. Explain, promote, or sell consumer products or services. Adhere to cash pay limits, federal, state, and internal regulations, and bank security guidelines and procedures.
