Job Overview
A law firm seeks an experienced Construction/Real Estate Attorney to join its Real Estate Practice Group in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction law and the ability to handle complex legal matters within the real estate sector.
Duties
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex construction and construction-related contracts.
- Advise clients on risk mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of construction law experience within a Real Estate Practice Group.
- Familiarity with professional services agreements and industry-standard contract forms (AIA, ConsensusDocs).
- Strong academic record with excellent research and writing skills.
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications
Licensed to practice law in California.
Skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
