We're looking for a Shift Supervisor who enjoys leading people, takes pride in the details, and wants to grow with our business. The Shift Supervisor leads daily shift operations while working alongside team members to deliver excellent service and consistently high-quality products. This hands-on role requires confident leadership, initiative, and sound judgment. You'll provide clear direction, coach team members, and follow through to ensure work meets our standards. Keeping the store clean, polished, organized, and welcoming is an essential responsibility. Advancement is available based on demonstrated performance and business needs.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading shifts, delegating tasks, and verifying that opening, closing, and daily responsibilities are completed correctly.
• Training and coaching team members, providing constructive feedback, and communicating performance concerns to management.
• Setting a positive example, promoting teamwork, and helping create a professional, enjoyable work environment.
• Welcoming guests, answering questions, offering samples, recommending products, and resolving concerns professionally.
• Preparing milkshakes, sundaes, and dipped chocolates according to recipe, quality, and presentation standards.
• Maintaining cleanliness throughout the store, including the dining room, restrooms, equipment, service areas, and back-of-house spaces. Assigning tasks and checking completed work.
• Assisting with stocking, inventory, product rotation, waste reduction, seasonal displays, and signage.
• Following cash-handling procedures and ensuring team members do the same.
• Adjusting priorities to business volume, keeping the team productive and supporting appropriate staffing and labor management.
• Reinforcing food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures. Promptly reporting equipment, safety, or product-quality concerns.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include:

• Previous food service, hospitality, retail, or customer service experience; supervisory or shift leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication, delegation, and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to hold team members accountable respectfully.
• Close attention to cleanliness, presentation, accuracy, and safety.
• Ability to prioritize, take initiative, and remain composed during busy shifts.
• Cash-handling experience; familiarity with POS systems preferred.
• Dependable attendance, clear communication, and consistent availability.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must hold a current ServSafe Food Protection Manager certification or obtain it within 30 days of hire. Certification costs are covered by the employer.

Schedule and physical requirements include:

• Availability for a mix of weekday opening shifts and weekend evenings, with holidays as needed.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, stoop, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds, with reasonable accommodation as applicable.
• Manual dexterity to prepare products and operate equipment safely.
