Travel Respiratory Therapist - Registered RT/RRT

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift hospital position requiring at least 6 months of recent acute care experience.

Job Details

• Work in the Respiratory Therapy department of a 350-bed hospital,
• Day and night shift teams each staffed with 1 charge therapist and 5 staff members,
• Patient ratios are variable,
• Uses Hamilton G5/C1/T1, V60, and Vyair Avea ventilator equipment,
• Performs ventilator management and airway management procedures,
• Meditech EMR system used, with prior experience preferred,
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM,
• 13-week assignment length,

Job Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of current acute care RRT hospital experience within the last 6 months,
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required,
• CRT or NBRC certification required,
• License required if applicable,
• Prior Meditech experience preferred,
• PEDS/NICU/PICU experience preferred,
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months,
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration,
