Shipping & Receiving Clerk I ? Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM ? Pay Rate: $21.50/hour About the Opportunity A leading technology manufacturing and logistics organization is seeking a detail-oriented, hands-on, and reliable Shipping/Receiving Worker to join its warehouse operations team. Position Summary The Shipping & Receiving Clerk I is responsible for supporting warehouse operations through order fulfillment, inbound receiving, inventory control activities, and outbound shipping functions. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and committed to maintaining accuracy and productivity. Essential Responsibilities Order Picking Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations according to customer orders. Verify quantities and ensure items are correctly labeled. Assist with packaging and preparing orders for shipment. Support shipping operations by ensuring orders are completed accurately and on time. Receiving Receive incoming shipments and verify quality and quantity. Review shipping documentation for accuracy. Label and process incoming inventory. Organize and store received materials in designated warehouse locations. Inventory Control Participate in cycle counts and inventory audits. Report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged materials. Enter inventory transactions into the Warehouse Management System (WMS). Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation. Shipping Prepare outgoing shipments according to established procedures. Ensure products are packaged securely and labeled correctly. Assist with loading shipments onto trucks and delivery vehicles. Follow all warehouse safety standards and transportation guidelines. Qualifications Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand and work for extended periods of time. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to follow written instructions, work procedures, and safety guidelines. Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory, or logistics experience is preferred but not required.
