About the Role

Hello, Special Education Teachers ! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Special Education Teacher to support students in a center-based ASD classroom in Englewood, CO. You'll provide individualized instruction, implement IEPs, support student communication and behavior needs, and create a structured, supportive classroom environment. You'll work closely with paraprofessionals, specialists, families, and the school team.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs
• Provide specialized instruction across academic subjects
• Support students with autism and diverse learning needs
• Create a structured and supportive classroom environment
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, specialists, families, and school staff
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
• Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet individual needs

What We're Looking For

• Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license with Special Education endorsement
• Experience supporting students with autism preferred
• Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
• School-based experience preferred, not required
