Key Qualifications:

• Active Colorado Department of Education Teaching License with Early Childhood Special Education endorsement
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Proven experience in early childhood or special education settings
• Ability to conduct thorough child find evaluations for preschool-age children
• Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable working across more than one school site
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to meeting all credentialing and district onboarding requirements promptly

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction and individualized educational support for young children identified for special education services
• Conduct comprehensive bilingual evaluations for early childhood students at North Star Elementary, Centennial Elementary, and additional district sites as needed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team as part of the district's Child Find Evaluation Team
• Maintain timely documentation and assessment records in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Participate in district-level meetings and engage families in the evaluation and support process
• Adapt instructional materials and strategies to address linguistic and developmental differences
