Step into a fast-moving, team-centered shop where your mastery of CNC lathes turns ideas into exact components. As our CNC Turning Specialist, you’ll translate prints into parts with repeatable accuracy and keep our production humming.

• Morning: Review work orders and blueprints, load programs and tooling, perform setups, and run first-article checks.
• Midday: Keep machines in spec—fine-tune offsets, monitor cycle performance, and verify dimensions using calipers, micrometers, and other precision gauges.
• Afternoon: Troubleshoot issues, complete in-process inspections, document results, and collaborate with teammates on process tweaks and continuous improvements—always maintaining a safe, organized work area.

• Set up and operate CNC lathes to manufacture parts that meet engineering specifications and quality standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine the correct machining sequence.
• Monitor production runs, adjusting tools, feeds, and speeds to sustain part quality and consistency.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to keep equipment operating at peak performance.
• Inspect completed parts with precision measuring tools to verify conformance to spec.
• Work closely with the team to refine processes and boost productivity.
• Keep the work area clean and orderly while following all safety protocols.

• High school diploma or equivalent; machining coursework or certification is a plus.
• Hands-on experience as a CNC lathe operator or comparable machining role in manufacturing.
• Solid understanding of CNC programming and turning processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, prints, and work instructions.
• Proficiency with precision measurement (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• A track record of problem-solving and working both independently and within a team.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a dedication to quality.
• Comfort lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
