Key Responsibilities

• Provide gastroenterology coverage during 24-hour call shifts
• Manage an average of 2 to 5 consultations daily
• Work in both inpatient and outpatient environments
• Perform upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, and sigmoidoscopy
• Conduct esophageal dilatation, manometry, and small bowel biopsy
• Insert and manage Sengstaken/Blakemore tubes
• Anticipate ongoing coverage needs
