Cath Lab Technician Schedule: Full-time, 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m., Monday–Friday. Ask about our $10,000 sign-on bonus! How you'll contribute Reviews patient history and physician orders; educates patient regarding procedures, equipment, and exam to ensure understanding and cooperation. Prepares and administers contrast media or medications within scope of practice; monitors patient condition continually and reports or responds to changes as appropriate. Prepares equipment and supplies; selects appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters; implements safety standards and performs quality control procedures on equipment; troubleshoots, resolves, and reports equipment malfunctions as necessary. Positions patient and performs imaging procedures; analyzes results and identifies issues with image quality. Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patient and repeating procedure; enters, transmits, and reports scan results. Reviews each examination for technical accuracy; presents completed examination for interpretation; communicates pertinent data to persons responsible for the patient's care following the procedure. Uses computer system to document patient information correctly and accurately: full name, medical record number, date of birth, and examinations performed. Performs all necessary computer operations to ensure proper examination documentation and charges. Will perform additional duties as assigned. Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) within 6 months of hire. Licenses : ARRT (required). Prior Cath Lab or interventional radiology experience (required). Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
