Our concepts include Baumhower’s Victory Grille, Wingfingers, Dauphin’s and Las Floriditas. Aloha Hospitality is seeking a full-time Daily Sales & Cash Management Clerk to join our team. This position is responsible for managing and reconciling daily sales and cash transactions for all entities. The Daily Sales & Cash Management Clerk will review daily sales information, track and reconcile cash deposits and credit card transactions, prepare daily cash reports, process journal entries, and manage accounts receivable. This position will work closely with the Controller and company leadership to ensure financial information is accurate, timely, and properly documented. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and takes pride in accuracy. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with numbers, able to identify and research discrepancies, manages deadlines well, and looks for opportunities to improve processes and systems. Job responsibilities include: ? Reconcile daily sales and cash transactions for all entities through Toast Sales Summaries. ? Prepare the Daily Cash Report for the Controller, CEO, and President. ? Review and approve daily sales data from each restaurant. ? Ensure daily cash deposits are accurate, timely, and deposited into the appropriate bank accounts. ? Track and reconcile credit card transactions and deposits. ? Research, reconcile, and report errors, problems, or inconsistencies to management in a timely manner. ? Prepare journal entries for electronic transfers of funds between entities, instant float transactions, and other miscellaneous bank transactions. ? Ensure all journal entries have supporting documentation or appropriate Controller approval. ? Track, bill, and post all Accounts Receivable on a daily basis. ? Reconcile restaurant promotions, discounts, voids, and other related transactions. ? Prepare sales tax returns and make required payments on a period basis and for select locations and municipalities. ? Prepare journal entries to post sweeps between locations. ? Prepare bank transfers from local banks to corresponding ServisFirst accounts. ? Complete productivity reports as needed. ? Assist the Controller with period-end closing tasks. ? Download period-end bank statements. ? Complete special projects and other accounting responsibilities as assigned. ? Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace. ? Respond to emails and telephone messages and maintain timely communication. ? Identify opportunities to improve sales and cash management systems and processes. ? Perform other duties as required or assigned. Qualifications ? Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, cash management, accounts receivable, or a related field preferred. ? Strong attention to detail and accuracy. ? Comfortable working with numbers, financial reports, and reconciliations. ? Excellent organizational and time-management skills. ? Ability to identify discrepancies and research issues through resolution. ? Ability to work independently and manage recurring daily, weekly, and period deadlines. ? Excellent verbal and written communication skills. ? Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. ? Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. ? Experience with Toast, R-365, or restaurant accounting systems is a plus. ? High degree of integrity and confidentiality when handling financial information.
