The Registered Nurse (RN) provides trauma-informed, recovery-oriented nursing care to adults receiving extended psychiatric stabilization services within a structured therapeutic environment. The RN functions as a core member of the interdisciplinary treatment team and supports the development of emotion regulation, psychiatric stabilization, health management, and successful community reintegration for individuals with mental illness. The EAC RN supports longitudinal stabilization, therapeutic engagement, psychoeducation, and development of independent living skills in a high relational treatment environment.

Qualifications:

• Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License or Temporary Practice Permit required
• Previous behavioral health experience preferred Ability to de-escalate crisis situations preferred
• Ability to work with culturally diverse families and communities with the ability to be culturally sensitive, compassionate, and non-judgmental.
• Ability to maintain the milieu with a calm and professional approach, provide redirection, utilize de-escalation techniques along with separation.
• Works well under pressure and consistently demonstrates a pleasant and professional demeanor.
• Ability to conduct group activities with patients.
• Healthcare Provider (CPR) certification and Comprehensive Crisis Management certification within 6 months of start date in position/department
