Sr. Lead, Communications Operations

About the Role:

Tubi is looking for a highly organized, strategic and proactive Communications Operations Lead to help power its global Communications + Publicity organization.

Reporting to the VP, Communications, this role will sit at the center of the function, helping translate strategy into priorities, connect work across the organization, and build the operating discipline that allows a fast-moving team to work smarter and more effectively.

The ideal candidate is equal parts operator, project manager, and problem solver: someone who can see across a complex portfolio of work, anticipate needs and dependencies, bring structure to ambiguity, and turn priorities into action. This person will have visibility across corporate and business communications, brand and consumer communications, content and creator publicity, and international communications, helping ensure those areas operate as one connected function.

This is not a traditional publicity or corporate communications role. It is an opportunity to help build and run the operating system behind how Tubi tells its story.

This is a hybrid role based out of our Los Angeles or New York City office. You must be willing to travel to ouroffice 2-3 days/week.

What You'll Do:

• Own the operating rhythm of the Communications + Publicity organization, creating visibility across priorities, major announcements, campaigns, launches, events, and external moments.
• Partner closely with the VP, Communications and functional leads on strategic planning and prioritization, translating business priorities into communications priorities and ensuring resources are focused against the work that matters most.
• Own the team’s integrated communications calendar and forward-looking planning, proactively identifying conflicts, dependencies, gaps, and opportunities across workstreams.
• Drive project management for major cross-functional communications initiatives, establishing clear owners, timelines, dependencies, and decision points and ensuring work moves forward.
• Build and manage systems that provide clear visibility into team priorities, workload, deadlines, and results, with an emphasis on simplifying how the team works rather than adding process.
• Establish and manage team operating rhythms, including weekly priorities, planning sessions, leadership updates, and cross-functional coordination.
• Manage the operational side of Tubi’s communications agency and vendor ecosystem, including scopes of work, budgets, contracts, deliverables and performance, helping ensure external resources are deployed effectively.
• Own departmental budget tracking and resource planning in partnership with Communications leadership and Finance.
• Partner with Communications leadership to strengthen measurement and reporting, helping connect communications activity and outcomes to narrative, reputation, and business objectives.
• Develop concise leadership updates and materials that synthesize priorities, progress, risks, and dependencies, not just reporting activity.
• Coordinate across Marketing, Content, Product, Ad Sales, International, and corporate communications teams to surface dependencies, connect the right stakeholders, and ensure teams are operating from shared information.
• Identify recurring friction points, information gaps, and inefficient ways of working and proactively develop solutions.
• Ensure critical institutional knowledge, decisions, processes, and relationships are documented and accessible across the team.
• Support agency, vendor, and team onboarding and transitions to ensure continuity of work and knowledge.
• Serve as a trusted operating partner to the VP, Communications and a central point of continuity across a high-volume organization where priorities move quickly.

Your Background:

• 4+ years of experience in communications, marketing, business operations, project / program management or a related field; experience working within or alongside a Communications or Marketing organization strongly preferred.
• Exceptional organizational and project-management skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex workstreams and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Strong business judgment and the ability to distinguish what matters most from everything that is happening.
• Demonstrated experience building processes, systems, or operating rhythms that improve how teams work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information clearly and concisely for senior leaders.
• Experience working with budgets, agencies, vendors, contracts, and / or resource planning.
• Strong cross-functional instincts and the confidence to manage up, push for decisions, and hold stakeholders accountable.
• High attention to detail paired with an ability to see the larger organizational picture.
• Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment where priorities evolve quickly and not every problem comes with an established process.
• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and an instinct to anticipate what a team needs before being asked.
• A collaborative, low-ego approach, and genuine satisfaction in making the people and teams around you more effective.
• Entertainment, media, technology, or consumer-brand experience is a plus.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is listed annually below. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, long-term incentive plan, and various benefits including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.

$75,000—$90,000 USD
