Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an acute care ICU/Neuro unit within a 295-bed regional hospital serving an 11-county area in south central Kentucky
• Manage a patient ratio of 4:1 on day shift, delivering high-quality nursing care to adult patients
• Utilize Meditech EHR for accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team supporting cardiac care, advanced neurosurgery, and a Spine Center accredited program
• Float within the facility or to locations within a 25-mile radius as operationally required

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in Kentucky or a compact state
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in an acute care facility; 2+ years preferred
• Current BLS certification (required prior to start)
• Current NIHSS certification (required prior to start)
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for travel rates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a neuro or ICU specialty setting
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic health records system
• Experience working in a high-acuity regional or trauma-level acute care environment
