What you'll be doing day to day Oversee the daily operations of the sales floor team to secure a consistent product range presentation and customer shopping experience. Provide a great IKEA shopping and brand experience to drive repeat visitation to the IKEA store by maintaining store merchandising standards and ensuring a great meeting with the customer. Manage the sales floor team to ensure a consistent range presentation and customer experience through a flexible, competent, and knowledgeable workforce. Hire, onboard, and train co‑workers; direct overall selection, onboarding, coaching, and development of co‑workers, create individual development plans to secure succession, and manage resource planning, coworker relations issues, performance and delegated responsibilities. Drive sales by ensuring co‑workers have product knowledge, IKEA Concept tools, resources, and home furnishing expertise to actively sell and meet commercial review standards. Monitor and follow up on sales, supply, customer insights, and customer‑centric KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement. Secure Sales Location Management (SLM) to ensure the optimal ASSQ is in place to meet the customer and keep products available for a thriving shopping experience. Execute the commercial calendar, strategies and workbriefs by partnering with necessary stakeholders. Plan and implement activities and add‑ons throughout the entire store in collaboration with the ComCal and the Com&In team. Handle issues raised by customers and co‑workers positively and quickly.
