Distribution Assistant

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Warehouse Associate for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Tarzana, CA. Details for the position are as follows: Location: Tarzana, CA (Travel between Tarzana and Santa Monica, CA) Pay Rate: $26/hr (W2) Duration: 6 Months Job Description Receive, inspect, release, store, and distribute incoming materials in a GMP warehouse environment. Process material receipts and maintain required release documentation and certificates. Load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and warehouse equipment. Perform inventory transactions, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation within ERP systems. Dispense raw materials to support GMP manufacturing and development operations. Monitor Kanban inventory and replenish materials as needed. Manage warehouse inventory, storage areas, and material organization in compliance with GMP requirements. Support drug product and sample shipment preparation and pack-out activities. Manage assets using CMMS and environmental monitoring systems. Support material qualification, tech transfer activities, and inventory process improvements. Track material lifecycle, identify obsolete or expired inventory, and support inventory reporting. Perform vehicle inspections and transport materials between multiple company facilities. Education High School Diploma or equivalent required. Required Skills 3+ years of warehouse, materials management, or supply chain experience within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry. Experience working in a GMP manufacturing environment. Inventory management and warehouse operations. ERP systems (NetSuite preferred). CMMS (Blue Mountain). Environmental Monitoring Systems (Vaisala EMS). Material receiving, incoming inspection, and material release. Inventory cycle counting and inventory control. Raw material dispensing for GMP manufacturing. Kanban inventory management. Asset management systems. Shipping, receiving, and material distribution. Forklift, pallet jack, and material handling equipment operation. Material qualification and tech transfer support. Drug product and sample shipment preparation. Master data and inventory transaction management. Preferred Skills Cell therapy manufacturing experience. Pharmaceutical or biotech warehouse operations. Inventory lifecycle management (obsolete/end-of-shelf-life materials). GMP warehouse organization and storage management. Environmental monitoring systems experience.
