Work Environment

This position is onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in the vibrant city of Orlando, Florida, known for its thriving healthcare community and commitment to patient-centered care. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nursing staff, and other rehabilitation professionals, in a supportive and advanced clinical setting. Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments to evaluate patient needs, reviewing medical histories and conducting specific physical assessments.
• Develop and communicate individualized treatment plans to patients and their families, ensuring they are involved in goal-setting and decision-making.
• Implement effective treatment protocols tailored to each patient's condition, using therapeutic modalities and manual techniques as needed.
• Maintain clear and timely documentation of all patient care activities, including initial evaluations, daily progress notes, and discharge summaries, in accordance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on patient progress and feedback.
• Participate in discharge planning, ensuring that patients have a seamless transition to home care or other services when necessary.
• Stay informed of the latest trends and advancements in physical therapy to ensure quality care delivery.
• Manage time effectively, balancing patient loads while meeting productivity expectations.
• Contribute to departmental objectives and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic conditions affecting mobility. Your interventions will be crucial in improving their quality of life and restoring physical function. By developing trust and rapport, you will play an essential role in their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida is necessary.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage effectively with patients and families.

Preferred Experience

While prior work experience in a similar role is not mandatory, candidates with internships or clinical rotations focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation will find an advantage. Experience interacting within a collaborative team environment and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to salary, our benefits package includes:
