Work Environment

This position is onsite, allowing you to interact directly with your patients in their home environments. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine and fulfill the unique needs and goals of each patient.
• Manage a patient caseload to ensure focused, individualized attention, typically seeing one patient per hour.
• Deliver a range of therapeutic interventions that enhance patients' mobility and overall functionality.
• Formulate and implement detailed treatment plans employing various therapeutic techniques and exercise programs.
• Educate and motivate patients regarding non-surgical alternatives while minimizing medication reliance.
• Monitor patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as outcomes dictate.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and therapeutic services using EMR software, including WebPT.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes through integrated care approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation and individuals managing chronic pain or mobility issues. Through a combination of manual therapy and tailored exercise regimens, you will directly impact the recovery journey of each patient, fostering their resilience and independence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida, with no disciplinary actions on record.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the design of effective exercise regimens tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

We are looking for candidates with at least 2 years of professional experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting. Familiarity with home care services is an added advantage, as it would enhance your ability to adapt therapy plans to various home environments.

Compensation and Benefits
