Work Environment

This position requires a full-time commitment, with hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. As part of our home care initiative, you will travel to patients' residences, providing flexibility and convenience while maintaining the highest standards of care. This role allows for meaningful one-on-one interactions, fostering strong therapeutic relationships with patients as you guide them through their rehabilitation journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsively assess patients to understand their individual goals and rehabilitation needs.
• Manage a caseload of clients, delivering care and conducting therapy sessions at a ratio of one patient per hour.
• Provide strategic and cost-effective treatment plans aimed at improving patient mobility and overall wellness.
• Implement a variety of non-surgical interventions to promote healing and functional restoration.
• Collaborate with patients to create personalized fitness and wellness programs designed to enhance their strength, flexibility, and balance.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes, ensuring clear communication of progress and adjustments in care plans as needed.
• Document all patient interactions, treatments provided, and progress thoroughly for continuity of care.
• Encourage and educate patients to engage in healthy lifestyle choices that complement their therapeutic progress.
• Work in close partnership with other healthcare providers to ensure integrated, holistic care for each patient.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient population consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our multidisciplinary approach allows us to address a wide array of physical therapy needs, ensuring that each patient receives customized and comprehensive care. Your expertise will help bridge the gap between treatment and rehabilitation, helping patients regain their independence and enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Avalid Florida license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean professional record with no history of disciplinary actions against your license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based rehabilitation practices.
• Strong skills in developing and implementing effective exercise protocols personalized to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Experience working in home care environments, providing therapy in patients' residences.
• Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and their families.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team of healthcare professionals.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is between USD 100,000 and USD 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
