Serenity Motion Therapy is seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team in Deltona, Florida. This full-time position involves onsite work, where you will engage with patients in their homes as part of our home care program. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in helping our patients recover their mobility and achieve optimal physical health, all while delivering exceptional care in a supportive environment.

Work Environment

This position offers a unique opportunity to work directly in the home environment of our patients in Deltona, Florida. You will be part of a close-knit team comprising two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), where collaboration and communication are at the heart of our practice. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their rehabilitation goals, needs, and limitations.
• Manage a patient caseload, maintaining a ratio of one patient per hour to ensure focused and personalized care.
• Perform evidence-based treatments that not only aim to enhance mobility and function but also contribute to pain management and reduction of reliance on medications.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans that utilize a combination of treatment modalities and therapeutic exercises, tailored to each patient's condition.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, encouraging adherence to treatment protocols and lifestyle modifications.
• Evaluate patient progress, modify treatment plans as necessary, and meticulously document all services provided in line with compliance standards.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and nursing staff, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive patient care initiatives.
• Educate patients on their conditions, treatment techniques, and preventive strategies for maintaining optimal health beyond therapy sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients experiencing a wide range of orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain, and musculoskeletal injuries. Our patient population is diverse, ranging from post-operative orthopedic patients to individuals seeking to improve their physical function due to age-related issues. Your expertise will directly influence their recovery and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida is required.
• An unblemished professional record, free from any board or disciplinary action.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to develop and implement effective exercise protocols.
• Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, for patient documentation and tracking.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred.
• A background in home health care or similar environments would be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package that ranges from USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually , commensurate with experience.
