Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Happy Body Therapy, you will work onsite in various home settings, directly engaging with patients in their personal environments. Key Responsibilities

In your role, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough consultations with patients to gather detailed information about their physical conditions and overall health history.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunctions and formulating tailored treatment plans that align with individual health goals and lifestyles.
• Instructing patients in therapeutic exercises and movements, ensuring they understand the techniques for safe and effective practice.
• Employing hands-on techniques such as manual therapy, massage, and therapeutic modalities to promote healing and pain relief.
• Assisting patients in utilizing mobility aids, including walkers and wheelchairs, to enhance their daily activities and independence.
• Documenting patient progress meticulously through record-keeping systems to track improvements and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Providing guidance to patients and their families regarding in-home treatment options, exercises, and preventive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse patient demographic includes children and adults across various diagnoses such as orthopedic conditions, neurological disorders, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Qualifications

Candidates for this position must possess:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A valid and active state license to practice Physical Therapy in Florida.

• Proficiency in word processing and basic computer applications to maintain patient records and manage appointment schedules.
