Work Environment

This full-time position requires onsite engagement, where you will deliver physical therapy services directly within clients' homes. The work setting allows for personalized patient interactions and enables you to create custom therapy plans based on the client's specific living environments and daily challenges. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' physical capabilities, including muscle strength, joint function, and pain levels, to accurately assess their needs and formulate effective treatment plans.
• Design and implement individualized physical therapy programs that target pain relief, functional improvement, and overall strength enhancement while incorporating preventive care measures.
• Administer various therapeutic techniques, including manual exercises, massage, electrical stimulation, and traction, tailored to each patient's unique circumstances.
• Guide clients in the use of therapeutic modalities and exercises, ensuring they are motivated and capable of performing non-manual activities effectively.
• Evaluate, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices as needed, providing necessary recommendations for follow-up modifications to collaborating physicians.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient progress and modifications to treatment plans, in compliance with best practices and healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, managing chronic pain, or experiencing musculoskeletal disorders. You will work closely with individuals of various ages and backgrounds, helping them regain independence and improve their overall physical health through targeted therapy interventions.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist is mandatory.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in settings such as orthopedic care, acute care, outpatient care, or geriatrics.
• Proficient in orthopedic assessment methodologies, treatment planning, and implementation of evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, complemented by problem-solving abilities to address patients' unique therapy challenges.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems to ensure effective documentation and patient tracking.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with a diverse patient demographic, particularly in home care settings.
• Proficiency in utilizing advanced physical therapy tools and therapeutic modalities.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams in a home care context.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer an attractive salary range of $90,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
