Urban Movement Rehab & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated, full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our vibrant team based in Sanford, Florida. Work Environment

This full-time position is located onsite at our well-equipped facility in Sanford, Florida. You will be part of a dynamic team that includes skilled physical therapists and rehabilitation professionals, working collaboratively to ensure the highest standards of care. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patients' orthopedic conditions, identifying their unique objectives and needs.
• Manage a caseload with a focus on one-on-one patient interactions, allowing for tailored treatment sessions that promote maximum progress and care quality.
• Implement and adapt evidence-based treatment plans which emphasize functional improvement in mobility, strength, and overall physical performance.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises to facilitate recovery and enhance patients' functional abilities.
• Monitor and evaluate patients' progress throughout their rehabilitation journey, documenting treatment outcomes and maintaining clear communication with patients and colleagues.
• Develop individualized fitness and wellness programs that support long-term health goals, encouraging daily exercise and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in multi-disciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care and enhance treatment effectiveness.
• Educate patients and their families on condition management, prevention strategies, and the importance of adherence to treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate records using our EMR system to ensure compliance with best practices and regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgery, injuries, or chronic conditions. The diverse demographics of Sanford allow us to work with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, tailoring our approaches to meet their specific rehabilitation needs. We promote a holistic approach to recovery, emphasizing both physical and emotional well-being throughout the treatment process.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid Florida license as a Physical Therapist, demonstrating compliance with professional standards.
• A clean professional record with no history of disciplinary actions against the license, ensuring the integrity of patient care.
• Strong expertise in manual therapy techniques and a proven ability to design and implement effective exercise protocols tailored to individual patient needs.
• Familiarity with using WebPT or similar Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, proficiently documenting patient interactions and treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient physical therapy setting, with a strong understanding of best practices in rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver effective patient education and motivate patients toward self-management of their conditions.
• Experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
