Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will:

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough evaluations and assessments of each patient's condition and abilities.
• Direct and oversee the execution of physical therapy interventions, ensuring they align with the established plan of care.
• Monitor patient progress; observe, record, and report changes in patients' conditions and responses to therapy.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapies, and modalities such as traction and electrical stimulation to optimize recovery.
• Instruct and educate patients and their families regarding injury prevention, rehabilitation processes, and the use of assistive devices as appropriate.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapy Assistants, providing guidance and support in delivering care to patients.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing insights to enhance patient care and coordinate treatment strategies.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Evaluate patients' home environments to recommend modifications that facilitate safe and independent living.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients primarily consist of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will engage with a diverse population, including young athletes, active adults, and aging individuals facing mobility challenges. Your role will be pivotal in guiding them through their rehabilitation journeys, fostering empowerment, and instilling a sense of confidence in their physical capabilities.

Qualifications

The successful candidate for this role will possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Current PT licensure in good standing in the state of Florida.
• Certification in CPR and valid driver's license with appropriate insurance.
• A collaborative approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and effective communication skills.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
