Work Environment

Working in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center in Sanford, Florida, you will be part of a supportive and collaborative team focused on delivering evidence-based care. Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to determine their specific physical therapy needs.
• Developing, implementing, and adjusting customized treatment plans based on individual patient assessments and physician recommendations.
• Utilizing a variety of treatment modalities, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and patient education to address orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine conditions.
• Delivering high-quality, evidence-based care that focuses on maximizing patient outcomes by continuously assessing and modifying treatment strategies as necessary.
• Providing skilled therapeutic interventions in patient homes when required, while ensuring alignment with the prescribed plan of care.
• Educating patients and their caregivers on therapeutic exercises, injury prevention, and self-management strategies.
• Collaborating with a diverse clinical team to foster a cohesive approach towards patient care and involvement in quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and meeting minimum utilization goals as well as other business performance objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes individuals dealing with a wide array of conditions ranging from orthopedic injuries to neurological disorders. Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess the following:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, complemented by proficiency in word processing and computer applications.
• A commitment to building relationships with patients and maintaining a patient-centered focus.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preferred candidates will have experience in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation, a background in manual therapy techniques, and familiarity with electronic health record systems. Compensation and Benefits
