Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist with Lakeland Care Solution, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations, developing, and executing treatment plans based on physician referrals and patient needs.
• Administering therapeutic interventions in a home setting, which may involve specialized techniques and modalities to support rehabilitation goals.
• Providing education and resources to patients and their caregivers regarding treatment protocols, exercises, and home care techniques.
• Fostering a positive relationship with each patient by actively listening, understanding their concerns, and motivating them to meet their functional recovery goals.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care that maximizes patient outcomes and utilizes evidence-based practices.
• Meeting productivity targets and adhering to documentation and billing standards while upholding the organization's quality assurance policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your practice as a Physical Therapist will encompass a variety of specialties including orthopedic, pediatric, neurological, and sports medicine patients. You will encounter diverse needs and tailor your approach to suit each individual's recovery journey, ensuring that they receive personalized attention and care. Your expertise will significantly influence their rehabilitation outcomes, providing them with the tools and support necessary to regain movement and independence.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) or the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective patient interactions and documentation.
• Proficiency in using technology for documentation and patient management systems.
• A commitment to building meaningful relationships with patients and their families, while demonstrating empathy and support.

Preferred Experience

Additional preferred qualifications include:

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting.
• Current CPR certification.
• A demonstrated ability to manage multiple patient cases while maintaining high-quality care standards.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we offer an attractive benefits package, including:
