Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite, providing care directly in patients' homes. You will work in varied home settings, ensuring that each therapy session is provided within a safe and comforting environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess physical limitations and identify treatment objectives.
• Establish and implement evidence-based, individualized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and assistive devices.
• Utilize clinical judgment and experience to adjust treatment protocols based on ongoing patient assessments and feedback.
• Document patient progress meticulously, maintaining accurate records that reflect treatment outcomes and demonstrate compliance with regulatory standards.
• Engage and educate patients and their families on home exercise programs, lifestyle modifications, and injury prevention techniques.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and social workers, to ensure holistic care for patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with adult and geriatric patients, addressing common issues such as post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain management, orthopedic injuries, and mobility challenges. Your patience and empathy will help you connect with patients to motivate them through their rehabilitation journey, making a significant impact on their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
• A current and valid Physical Therapist license issued by the state of Florida.
• A minimum of three years of professional experience in physical therapy, preferably with a focus on home health.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate effective patient interactions and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while exercising sound clinical judgment.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in home health care settings.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
