Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for patients recovering from orthopedic procedures, focusing on restoring function and mobility.
• Assess patients' functional abilities using a variety of diagnostic and prognostic tests, ensuring accurate evaluations that directly inform treatment protocols.
• Direct therapy sessions, administering manual therapeutic exercises, and motivating patients in their rehabilitation journeys.
• Supervise and guide physical therapy assistants in their treatment roles, ensuring the consistent application of care plans.
• Evaluate clients' home environments to recommend adaptive tools and modifications that enhance independence in daily activities.
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records, including initial evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings, discussing patient progress and adjusting care strategies as required to meet evolving needs.
• Engage with patients and their families, offering education on physical therapy programs, device usage, and self-management strategies.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and clinic operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary in the range of USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
