This position is primarily onsite, working in patients' homes throughout the Sanford area. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth evaluations of patients' physical conditions to establish effective treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including exercise programs, manual therapy, and advanced modalities, to alleviate pain and promote mobility.
• Monitor progress and facilitate adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing assessments, ensuring the highest standard of care.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and families on therapeutic practices and the use of assistive devices, empowering them to implement strategies in their daily lives for enhanced functionality.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and outcomes in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies.
• Participate in continuing education opportunities to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of orthopedic physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Fountain Hills Physiotherapy, you will work with a diverse population of patients, including children, adults, and seniors. Your focus will be on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries (such as hip or knee replacements), sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. This role allows for individualized attention, enabling you to foster meaningful relationships with your patients that contribute to their rehabilitation journeys.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy is required for this position.
• A valid State License to practice Physical Therapy in Florida.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively educate patients and families.

• A flexible approach and adaptability to meet the needs of various patients.

Preferred Experience
