Key Responsibilities

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations to determine patients' orthopedic rehabilitation needs and developing customized treatment plans that comply with physician directives and established protocols.
• Implementing effective therapeutic interventions that incorporate advanced techniques, modalities, and exercises tailored to each patient's specific condition.
• Providing clear, educational guidance to patients and their families about recovery processes, in-home treatment exercises, and safety protocols to ensure successful outcomes.
• Collaborating closely with physicians and other medical professionals to convey pertinent patient information required for holistic care.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with clinic policies and best practices.
• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to share insights on patient care and outcomes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Our clinic primarily serves patients seeking rehabilitation from orthopedic injuries such as post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. As a Physical Therapist, your expertise will focus on empowering patients of all ages to regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve their quality of life through tailored rehabilitation programs.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid state Physical Therapy license for Florida.
• At least 3 years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting, with a strong emphasis on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Mandatory certifications in First Aid, AED, and CPR.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, along with proficiency in electronic medical records and documentation practices.

Preferred Experience

While not required, candidates with additional certifications in specialized therapeutic techniques or experience working with physical therapy management software will have a competitive advantage. A background in sports medicine or post-operative recovery plans is also highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include:
