Work Environment

This role is based onsite within our modern Rehabilitation Center in Deltona, a community known for its natural beauty and proximity to lakes and parks. The facility features advanced therapy equipment and a supportive team environment, allowing you to collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals. As a Full-Time Physical Therapist, you will work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a healthy work-life balance while making a meaningful impact on patients' lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify each patient's goals and needs
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that utilize a variety of evidence-based techniques
• Manage a caseload of 2-3 patients per hour, ensuring efficient delivery of care
• Employ cost-effective treatments that enhance patients' mobility and overall wellness
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to evaluate and communicate patient progress
• Document all patient care services and treatment outcomes accurately
• Motivate patients through personalized coaching and encouragement to meet their rehabilitation goals
• Educate patients about lifestyle choices that promote health, including strength training, flexibility exercises, and coordination activities

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our center focuses mainly on orthopedic outpatient therapy, serving a diverse clientele requiring rehabilitation following surgery, injury, or physical impairments. You will work with individuals of various ages and backgrounds, helping them regain functionality and independence. Your role will be pivotal in reducing pain, minimizing the need for medications, and providing alternative options to surgical interventions.

Qualifications

• Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
• Current Florida Physical Therapist License without any disciplinary actions
• National Provider Identifier (NPI) number or the ability to obtain one prior to employment
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise protocols
• Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy settings is highly desirable
• Evidence of participation in continuing education and professional development initiatives

Compensation and Benefits

Your commitment and expertise will be recognized with a competitive salary in the range of USD 120,000 – 130,000 per year, complemented by a robust benefits package.
