Work Environment

This position is onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in the vibrant city of Sanford, Florida. You will be collaborating with a team of experienced clinicians in a supportive and engaging atmosphere. Our outpatient clinic operates on a schedule of 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing our practitioners to maintain a healthy work-life balance while effectively caring for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments for each patient, designing individualized care plans that meet their unique goals and needs.
• Manage a designated patient caseload, ensuring each client receives dedicated attention and quality care during their sessions.
• Apply expertise in orthopedic outpatient care, utilizing advanced manual therapy techniques and evidence-based treatment protocols.
• Incorporate cost-effective treatment strategies that prioritize the restoration of motion and mobility for all patients.
• Promote and educate patients on non-surgical alternatives, emphasizing lifestyle changes and minimizing reliance on medication.
• Integrate various therapeutic modalities into custom care plans that reflect up-to-date research and best practices in physical therapy.
• Encourage patient motivation through active involvement in their rehabilitative journey, helping them set realistic and attainable recovery milestones.
• Enhance patients' strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination to support their overall physical health and wellness.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, ensuring seamless communication with other healthcare providers regarding patient progress and necessary adjustments in treatment plans.
• Regularly evaluate and document treatment outcomes and patient progress while meticulously maintaining accurate therapy records.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Body Dynamics, you will provide care to a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgery, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our practice is dedicated to addressing the physical rehabilitation needs of patients actively engaged in improving their functional movement and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
• An active Physical Therapist license with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Strong understanding and proficiency in various manual therapy techniques, with the ability to adapt modalities based on individual patient needs.
• Proven ability to design and implement effective and engaging exercise programs tailored for a diverse clientele.
• Experience in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, particularly Web PT, for efficient and accurate documentation practices.
• Comprehensive knowledge of current physical therapy methodologies and evidence-based practices.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.
• Additional certification in specialized treatment techniques or modalities is a plus.
• Experience with program development for patient wellness initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits
