Work Environment

This position is an onsite role at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, equipped with advanced technology for physical therapy and rehabilitation. The facility promotes a collaborative atmosphere where physical therapists work alongside other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional life and the opportunity to engage in community wellness initiatives after hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care by assessing patient conditions and formulating tailored treatment plans that meet unique patient goals.
• Maintain a manageable patient load, dedicating time to one-on-one sessions that enhance patient engagement and recovery experiences.
• Implement evidence-based interventions, utilizing a combination of manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, to improve patient functionality.
• Educate patients on therapeutic techniques and empower them with the skills needed for self-management and injury prevention.
• Continuous evaluation of patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet changing patient needs and optimize outcomes.
• Document patient interactions and treatment effectiveness using electronic medical records (EMR) software, especially Web PT, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to discuss patient progress and integrate holistic approaches to care.
• Promote wellness initiatives aimed at enhancing physical strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance, encouraging a proactive approach to health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will work primarily with a diverse range of patients requiring outpatient rehabilitation services. This includes athletes recovering from sports injuries, individuals recovering from surgeries, and those managing chronic conditions that affect mobility. Emphasis is placed on providing support for patients seeking non-surgical alternatives to pain management, ensuring they have the tools necessary to achieve their health and fitness goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is mandatory.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, without any sanctions or board proceedings.
• Strong clinical skills with expertise in orthopedic outpatient care and manual therapy modalities.
• Proficient in utilizing EMR software, particularly Web PT, for effective patient documentation.
• Current knowledge of contemporary physical therapy techniques supported by the latest research and best practices.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a rehabilitation facility or outpatient clinic, preferably within a sports medicine context.
• Demonstrated success in developing exercise programs that effectively address individual patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

We are pleased to offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
