Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Vitality Booster, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients, which involve reviewing their medical history, performing detailed assessments, and determining effective treatment recommendations.
• Communicating evaluation findings and proposed treatment plans clearly to patients and their families, actively engaging them in goal-setting.
• Implementing tailored treatment protocols based on individual patient evaluations, conditions, and the latest healthcare developments.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals when necessary to ensure holistic patient care.
• Monitoring and documenting changes in patient conditions, modifying care plans as required, and ensuring timely consults with medical professionals when needed.
• Facilitating discharge planning and follow-up care to ensure seamless transitions for patients.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities, including initial evaluations, daily notes, progress summaries, and discharge evaluations.
• Participating in hospital and community marketing initiatives to promote the facility and its services.
• Taking initiative in personal professional development and contributing to team meetings aimed at achieving departmental goals.
• Mentoring and instructing students or less experienced staff when applicable.
• Engaging in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient access and satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve an outpatient population that includes individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical procedures, neurological conditions, and chronic pain. Your expertise will be crucial in helping these patients regain their mobility, strength, and overall quality of life through personalized rehabilitation strategies.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapy state license as required for practice in Florida.
• Current certification in CPR from the American Heart Association (BLS for Healthcare Providers).

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
