Work Environment

This role is an onsite position in our dedicated outpatient office, allowing for an interactive and patient-focused environment. As a Physical Therapist at TruSolutions Therapy Care, you will work closely with patients and interdisciplinary teams to develop customized care plans. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and functional capabilities to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Collaborate with patients to set realistic rehabilitation goals and timelines based on their unique needs and lifestyles.
• Apply a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols, expected outcomes, and preventative measures to foster long-term health.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary patient care meetings, contributing insights to enhance treatment protocols and patient outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Provide post-treatment assessments and facilitate ongoing care planning to aid patients in their recovery journeys.
• Uphold a high standard of customer service and professionalism in every interaction, positively representing the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on athletes and active individuals recovering from injuries or surgeries related to sports. A significant portion of our patient population includes adolescents and adults engaged in competitive sports, recreational activities, and physically demanding jobs. This role will require effective communication and empathy, as you will work closely with patients to motivate them on their road to recovery while addressing their specific health concerns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid physical therapy license in the State of Florida.
• Current CPR certification prior to hire.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and prioritization capabilities.
• Proficient in electronic healthcare records and basic computer skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks gracefully, maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional standards.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting, preferably with a background in sports medicine.

Compensation and Benefits
