Work Environment

This position is based onsite within our home care facility in the vibrant community of Sanford, Florida. Our modern clinic is equipped with the latest rehabilitation technology and tools, ensuring that our staff can deliver the highest standards of care to our patients. Our work schedule provides a consistent routine, with hours from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, promoting a healthy work-life balance while you make a significant impact on patients' lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, individualized care to patients with a focus on restoring motion and enhancing mobility.
• Maintain a manageable caseload to ensure that each patient receives adequate attention and care tailored to their unique needs.
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans that utilize evidence-based practices and a variety of rehabilitation techniques.
• Embrace non-surgical treatment alternatives, educating patients on lifestyle changes and rehabilitation techniques to reduce reliance on medications.
• Facilitate rehabilitation through an array of manual therapy modalities and therapeutic exercises designed to promote strength, flexibility, and coordination.
• Engage in continuous assessment of patient progress, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary to align with clinical outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions, progress notes, and treatment plans accurately using EMR software, specifically WebPT, to ensure seamless workflow and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for all patients, maintaining open lines of communication for optimal patient outcomes.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their treatment journey, celebrating milestones and fostering a positive rehabilitation environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our outpatient care facility serves a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and neurological disorders. We emphasize personalized care, focusing on the unique rehabilitation needs of each patient to accelerate their recovery while also promoting overall wellness and physical fitness.

Qualifications

• A completed Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Exceptional knowledge of manual therapy techniques, combined with the ability to design and execute effective exercise rehabilitation programs.
• Proficiency in using EMR systems, especially WebPT, to ensure precise and timely documentation.
• In-depth understanding of contemporary physical therapy practices grounded in the latest research and clinical evidence.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a clinical outpatient setting, particularly with a focus on orthopedic care, sports medicine, or rehabilitation.
• A proven track record of successful interaction and relationship-building with a diverse patient base and healthcare teams.
• Demonstrable experience in program design aimed at enhancing physical performance and recovery outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
