Work Environment

The rehabilitation center operates onsite, allowing for a dynamic and interactive workplace filled with collaboration and teamwork. Our standard hours are Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured yet flexible schedule that focuses on work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate individual patient needs and establish clear therapeutic goals tailored to their unique conditions.
• Maintain a manageable patient load of one patient per hour, allowing for in-depth assessments and personalized treatment interventions.
• Employ a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques including manual therapy and tailored exercise programming to enhance patient mobility.
• Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans that not only alleviate pain but also improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Serve as a healthcare consultant for patients by providing education on injury prevention, lifestyle modifications, and rehabilitation processes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care.
• Regularly monitor patient progress and outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Document patient encounters and treatment interventions meticulously to ensure compliance and continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at PhysioCare Orthopedic Services, you will work with patients of various ages who are recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will help guide patients through their rehabilitation journeys, empowering them to attain optimal physical performance and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Physical Therapy (MPT) or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current Florida state license to practice as a Physical Therapist, with no history of disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design and implement effective exercise programs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient rehabilitation setting is highly desirable.
• Experience working with post-surgical patients and implementing evidence-based rehabilitation protocols.

Compensation and Benefits
