Work Environment

Situated in Deltona, Florida, our rehabilitation facility provides a collaborative and engaging onsite work setting. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations by assessing patient history, performing standardized tests, and documenting outcomes to create comprehensive treatment plans.
• Effectively communicate evaluation results and treatment strategies to patients and their families, incorporating their feedback into goal-setting processes.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols tailored to each patient's individual needs, while continuously adapting these protocols based on progress and changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, recognizing when to refer patients for additional assessments or specialist consultations as needed.
• Document patient care and progress accurately and timely, ensuring all records reflect the patient's journey while adhering to relevant healthcare regulations.
• Manage your schedule efficiently to meet productivity standards, while participating in hospital-led marketing initiatives to promote access to care.
• Contribute to departmental objectives by participating in quality improvement projects and embracing a culture of continuous learning.
• Encourage patient engagement and satisfaction, utilizing feedback to enhance the overall therapeutic experience.
• Actively participate in removing barriers to healthcare access as part of our Access NRH initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Physical Therapists work primarily with a diverse clientele encompassing various age groups and rehabilitation needs, ranging from orthopedic injuries to neurological disorders. Your role will directly affect the improvement of patients' physical function and quality of life, empowering them to regain independence and achieve their personal goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state license (or eligibility) as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification by the American Heart Association.
• Adherence to continuing education requirements for licensure renewal and professional development.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting is preferred, but not mandatory; recent graduates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems for accurate documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits
