Director of Business Operations

Insight Global is seeking a Director of Business Operations to lead and optimize key corporate functions for a growing organization operating within a highly regulated environment. This individual will be responsible for driving operational excellence across Human Resources, compliance, security, facilities, IT coordination, and corporate administration while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. The Director of Business Operations will serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership, overseeing day-to-day business operations, enhancing cross-functional collaboration, and implementing scalable processes that improve efficiency, accountability, and organizational performance. This role will be responsible for managing internal teams, vendor relationships, budgets, and operational initiatives while ensuring adherence to compliance standards and company policies. Key Responsibilities: Provide leadership and oversight across multiple business functions including Human Resources, compliance, facilities, security coordination, IT/cyber collaboration, and corporate services. Develop and improve operational processes, procedures, and accountability frameworks to support organizational growth and efficiency. Partner with executives, department leaders, and external vendors to drive strategic initiatives and ensure effective business operations. Support HR programs including employee onboarding, performance management, employee relations, benefits administration, and workforce planning. Lead compliance and risk management initiatives, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and audit readiness. Oversee vendor management, service contracts, insurance programs, and corporate administrative functions. Manage operational budgets, track expenditures, and identify opportunities for cost optimization and resource allocation. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of organizational priorities and operational objectives. Monitor key performance indicators and implement continuous improvement initiatives across departments. Required Skills & Experience: 10+ years of experience in business operations, corporate services, or organizational leadership roles. Experience overseeing multiple business functions such as HR, compliance, facilities, security, operations, IT coordination, corporate administration, or related areas. Experience working within a regulated, compliance-driven environment, including government, defense, aerospace, technology, healthcare, or similar industries. Proven experience leading cross-functional teams, managing employees, and driving organizational initiatives. Strong knowledge of operational processes, risk management, compliance programs, and vendor management. Experience managing budgets, forecasting expenses, and overseeing operational performance metrics. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across all levels of an organization. Demonstrated ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on operational execution in a fast-paced environment. Nice to Have: Experience supporting organizations with government contracts or security requirements. Background in corporate governance, audit management, or enterprise risk programs.
