Maintenance Supervisor

Lead and supervise the 2nd shift maintenance team to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production equipment in a food and beverage manufacturing environment. The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance, continuous improvement, compliance with GMP/HACCP/SOP requirements, and maintaining OSHA standards while minimizing downtime and supporting production goals.

(2 shifts available) Sunday-Wednesday 2PM-12AM OR Wednesday-Saturday 2PM-12AM

Supervise, coach, and schedule the 2nd shift maintenance technicians to meet production and safety targets.

Plan, coordinate, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment.

Troubleshoot equipment failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, SOPs, OSHA regulations, and company safety policies; lead safety meetings and incident investigations.

Use and maintain CMMS for work orders, asset history, spare parts inventory, and maintenance planning.

Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to support line changeovers, new equipment installations, and process improvements.

Drive continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives to reduce downtime, improve equipment reliability, and lower maintenance costs.

Train staff on safe work practices, SOPs, lockout/tagout procedures, and proper equipment operation.

Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and shift reports, and communicate status and key metrics to management.

Manage spare parts and tool inventory, and work with procurement to ensure critical items are available.

3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in food or beverage manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

Working knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety requirements; experience enforcing SOPs in a production environment.

Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, including experience with conveyors, pumps, motors, PLCs, and pneumatic systems.

Familiarity with CMMS software for scheduling, work orders, and asset management.

Knowledge of OSHA regulations, lockout/tagout, and safe work practices.

Experience applying Lean Manufacturing principles and leading continuous improvement projects.

Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills, with the ability to coach and develop technicians.

Ability to read electrical/mechanical schematics and maintain accurate maintenance records.

High school diploma or GED required; technical certification, associate degree in industrial maintenance or related field preferred.

Willingness to work 2nd shift schedule and participate in on-call rotation as needed.

Hourly rate: $35 - $40/hour (based on experience)
