Cardiac Cath/EP Lab Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) Location Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Primarily days with some late night (evenings) and on-call per unit needs. 10-hour shifts. Job Description The CVOR Tech assists with invasive cardiac procedures. Responsibilities include preparing the procedure room and sterile field, anticipating equipment needs, operating equipment, and maintaining sterile instruments. The CVT will function in multiple roles including scrub, circulator, and documenter/monitor. Responsibilities Prepare the procedure room and set up sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment. Anticipate and manage equipment needs during procedures. Operate equipment and maintain sterile instruments throughout the procedure. Function as scrub, circulator, and monitor within the procedure team. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure 2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience. Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through CCI or ARRT preferred. Current BLS and ACLS certifications. Experience in Right Heart and Left Heart Hemodynamics, Cardiac Interventions, CTO, PCI, Vascular Interventions, and Mechanical Circulatory Support (ECMO, Impella, IABP).
