Quality Analytics Manager

Job DescriptionGeneral Summary:The Quality Analytics Manager utilizes data analysis skills and tools to evaluate Vertex operations, processes, and systems and recommends strategic process improvements based on research findings. This role is a key contributor in driving data-centric decision making within the Quality organization. The role also advises and supports business partners in design and delivery of data models and data analysis that enhance Vertex delivery and oversight. Key Duties and Responsibilities:Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends and patterns in complex data sets and prepares ongoing reports and data visualizations to support decision-makingDevelops and implements data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and qualityGenerates and maintains metrics for Quality Leadership Teams to permit effective governance of Vertex quality systems and activities.Identifies and documents data life cycles, data sources and chain of custodyDevelops methods for collecting, storing, analyzing and reporting on multiple data types taken from disparate systems.Identifies projects or initiatives that could benefit from quantitative reviewIdentifies and contributes to the implementation of continuous improvement opportunitiesKnowledge and Skills:Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracyExperience in developing queries, report writing, and data visualizationKnowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (R, SPSS, SAS etc)Experience using data analysis and visualization applications (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau) and with data analysis techniquesExperience in the pharmaceutical and/or biotech industry or a comparable regulated industryAwareness of regulations applicable to pharmaceutical and/or device development, manufacturing and distributionEducation and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science or a related fieldTypically requires 4 years of experience in data analysis and reporting or the equivalent combination of education and experience.Pay Range:$114,400 - $171,600Disclosure Statement:The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements.
