About the Opportunity As a Procurement Associate for Wonder you will work collaboratively & cross functionally with the merchant team, forecasting team, warehouse operations & accounts payable. You will ensure that all raw materials arrive to the Wonder production & distribution facilities in time and in specification. The Impact You Will Make Develop & maintain positive relationships with supplier partners via e-mail, virtual meetings & direct calls. Sustain proper inventory levels by evaluating/submitting purchase orders & ensuring they are delivered on time. Address & rectify any quality concerns of raw materials presented by culinary & operational teams to supplier partners. Communicate forecasting changes to supplier partners. Work cross-functionally to meet launch dates of new raw materials. Evaluate reporting to minimize waste at production & distribution facilities. What You Bring to the Table 3+ years in a Buying position, preferably food experience within foodservice or retail setting Team player that appreciates other points of view & ideas Excellent project management and leadership skills Has a sense of urgency & great attention to detail Able to grasp concepts quickly and apply the learning Self-starter that does not mind seeking answers & information Embraces a fast-paced environment & can pivot as needed #LI-Hybrid New Jersey: $75,000 Benefits We offer a competitive salary package including equity and 401K.
