Roller Operator - Farmers Branch, TXAustin Bridge & Road is currently seeking experienced Roller Operator - Farmers Branch, TX. We excel at what we do and are looking for talented construction professionals that want to excel with us.The roller operator is responsible for operating heavy equipment for earthwork projects. Operates a self-propelled machine with either steel wheels or pneumatic tires which is used to compact earth fills, subgrade, flexible base and all other types of materials except bituminous. May oil, grease or otherwise service and make necessary adjustments as needed. Performs other related duties.ResponsibilitiesPerform daily equipment inspectionsOperate equipment in a safe and controlled mannerAble to grade to elevations and tolerancesAble to become proficient before advancing to another machineFollow all safety policies and proceduresWork hours adjusted to meet the project's needs; days, nights and weekendsAble to work in adverse weather conditions, hot or cold temperaturesOther duties as assignedQualifications1+ years of experience operating heavy equipmentMust have a strong commitment to jobsite safetyDiligent in demonstrating safe work practices.Applicants must be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States.
